John J. Farrell - President
John brings over 20 years experience in insurance and reinsurance product design, marketing and underwriting to ISSFIN. He came to the firm from Continental Underwriters, Ltd., where he spent 5 years as their Chief Operating Officer. John's long experience with the major insurance groups gives ISSFIN clients unparalleled access to a wide range of products and services tailored to their special needs.
John was the principal architect of EduCare International, an increasingly popular suite of health benefits plans offered to schools in Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.
Craig A. Peters, CEBS - Vice President
Craig joined ISSFIN in early 2006 from Aetna Global Benefits where he led an organization serving the needs of customers headquartered outside the United States, including international schools in more than 80 countries. Craig worked previously as an expatriate in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Germany.
In his role with ISSFIN, Craig designs and delivers comprehensive employee benefit and risk management solutions for international schools in Asia, the Middle East and Europe. He hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maine and an International MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Glendale, Arizona. He also holds Certified Employee Benefits Specialist and Global Benefits Management designations from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
Chanta N. Winston - Director, Administration Services
Chanta coordinates Administration and Customer Services for ISSFIN. She joined ISSFIN in early 2006 from the New Jersey State Department of Health and Senior Services, where she focused on refining and implementing benefit enrollment processes for low income seniors on Medicare. She brings excellent organizational and interpersonal relationship skills to ISSFIN and constantly demonstrates her ability to comprehensively assist members with claims submissions, reimbursements and direct communication with our insurance partners. Chanta is becoming well known by ISSFIN school customers for her responsiveness, her attention to detail and especially her ability to generate results for the schools and their staff members.
Ricardo Urbina - Regional Account Representative
Ricardo joined ISSFIN on November 26, 2007 as Regional Account Representative for the Latin American and Africa regions, working in conjunction with ISSFIN President, John Farrell.
Born to Peruvian and Venezuelan parents and raised in Caracas, Ricardo earned his BA Degree in Finance from the University of Scranton, which included two overseas semesters, one at City University in London, and another at the University of Economics in Prague. He holds an MBA from Villanova University, and has spent the better part of his professional career as a global markets specialist, leading the development of Latin American focused marketing programs for several US based financial and health care insurance organizations, including GMAC and International SOS.
Janet Daring - Accounting Manager
Janet joined ISSFIN in January 2008 following a 13-year career working for International Schools Services (ISS). Janet worked as an accountant and then senior accountant in the ISS Foundations Management Department where she managed the accounting operations for the U.S. Non-Profit foundations of 15 international schools. Services offered included payroll processing, bookkeeping, 501(c)(3) compliance, various U.S. state and federal tax filings, and cash management functions. Prior to joining ISS, Janet worked for a Third Party Administration firm owned by AON Corporation. Janet holds a BA degree in Political Science from Ursinus College.
